As a 2024 initiate, I have received many gifts from Delta —love and support that have strengthened me. Because of this, I am committed to doing my part to support and empower all collegiate sorors.
As a candidate for National Second Vice President, I aim to strengthen collegiate engagement, build strategic mentorship pipelines, and foster leadership development that helps collegiate sorors transition seamlessly to alumnae membership. This role is essential in ensuring that collegiate members not only remain active but are also equipped with the tools, resources, and network necessary to thrive in and out of the Sorority.
Delta is a gift that keeps giving, and I am committed to serving and leading with strategy, passion, and purpose and by showing We’ve got NEXT – Network. Empower. eXcel. Transition.
Network to build lasting and impactful relationships amongst collegiate and alumnae sorors
Empower collegiate sorors with resources for successful chapter programming, personal financial and emotional wellness, and professional development
Develop ways to celebrate when collegiate sorors eXcel in academics and personal growth
Transition seamlessly into alumnae engagement
As National Second Vice President, I will work tirelessly to ensure that collegiate sorors are seen, heard, and empowered. I am ready to bridge the gap between collegiate and alumnae membership, enhance leadership development, and build the next generation of changemakers within our sorority.
Delta has always been about uplifting the next wave of leaders. With your support, I am prepared to ensure that we rise together.
As the current DC State Facilitator, I have gained firsthand experience in bridging gaps, working to secure funding for collegiate initiatives, and ensuring that collegiate sorors are supported to thrive. This has enhanced my ability to communicate across multiple levels of the Sorority, collaborating to implement strategic initiatives.
I have deepened my understanding of the unique challenges that collegiate members face, making me well-equipped to offer guidance, advocate for resources, and drive meaningful engagement at the national level.
Meeting current and past leaders continually reminds me that collegiate sorors are not just preparing to lead – we are leading now. We are poised to make an impact now, and as National Second Vice President, I am committed to ensuring that every collegiate soror has the opportunities necessary to do just that while honoring their lifetime commitment to serve on their college campuses and beyond.
With a strong foundation in leadership, advocacy, and strategic planning, I am ready to serve. I bring vision, experience, and an unwavering dedication to Delta Sigma Theta. Together, we will continue the legacy of the Sorority, ensuring that we’ve got next!
